E-bike rider in hospital after crash with car in Nottingham

An e-bike rider has been taken to hospital for treatment following a crash with a car in Bestwood . The incident took place at around 7am this morning on Queens Bower Road, in Bestwood .

The emergency services are at the scene, including Nottinghamshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service. The road has been closed between Bestwood Park Drive to Hillington Rise due to the collision between a car and an electric bike - you can follow live updates in our blog here. The Forensic Collision Investigation Unit has also been in attendance. A spokesperson for Nottinghamshie Police stated: "Emergency services attended Queens Bower Road, Bestwood, around 7am today ."This was following a road traffic collision between a car and an electric bike. The rider was taken to hospital for treatment following the incident.

"Closures are still currently in place on the road, between the junctions of Deer Park Drive and Hillington Rise. We’d ask motorists to continue to avoid the area, and would urge anyone who saw what happened to call the police on 101, quoting incident 68 of 18 April 2024."
