Dr Dre’s own daughter has revealed he ‘pushed’ her to apply for a place at USC. It emerged after the rapper threw shade at Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman over the college scam scandal.into the University Of Southern California.
In the same breath, the hip hop producer boasted that Truly earned her place ‘all on her own’, adding ‘no jail time!’ seemingly referencing the controversy surrounding Loughlin and Huffman, who are accused of paying bribes to get their daughters into top schools in the States. Last May, Truly shared a selfie of her and Dr Dre posing in a car with the caption: ‘Dad pushing me to go to USC.’
While there is no suggestion that Dr Dre is involved in the college scam that is currently being investigated by the FBI, it has since emerged that the music icon donated $70 million to the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy in 2013.The new school was created to encourage young people to pursue entrepreneurship, computer science and engineering, audio, visual design and the arts.

Now I can no longer be proud that my parents paid gobs of cash to get me into West Point. Oh wait, they were poor. I got in on my own. Kind of wish the former were true instead of the latter.
