A tattooist who called himself ‘Dr Evil’ has been jailed for 40 months after carrying out a tongue-splitting procedure and removing an ear and a nipple.
He finally changed his plea to guilty last month following a two-year legal saga in which he unsuccessfully claimed his customers’ consent was a lawful defence.He has now admitted grievous bodily harm Earlier court hearings were told the ear removal was performed in 2015 without anaesthetic, three years after McCarthy split a woman’s tongue with a scalpel.
Following a failed bid to convince a Crown Court judge that consent was a lawful defence, McCarthy took his case to the Court of Appeal, contending that the procedures should be regarded as lawful to protect the ‘personal autonomy’ of his customers.
Why would you want your ear removed 🙄
I would rather the state spent my tax contributions pursuing practitioners of non-consensual body mutilation, i.e. FGM.
So he going to be a rich man inside more customers
So he done these procedures without their permission?
Just cannot fathom that level of boredom and unhappiness with one's body.
