My wife’s aunty and uncle both died during lockdown, although desperate to do so she didn’t see them before or was able to go to the funeral, she understood what she needed to do it, she didn’t make a fuss

My uncle died. Only his to sons were allowed to attend his funeral.
Are they serious? Really? The countries’ uncles, aunts, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and children have been dying the past months, relatives unable to physically support loved ones, attend funerals. I’m becoming more angry, the more excuses I hear.

Though I have sympathy for the family, they should remember that many have lost loved ones and haven’t been allowed to grieve with their families. A 13 year old boy wasn’t even allowed to have his parents by his side to hold his hand as he died from COVID19 on a hospital ward.
