The cotton wool had separated from the stick and become stuck by the ear drum. If the ear drum is perforated it could lead to hearing loss or infection.
Funny enough Ears are self cleaning no one should not use any object too clean the ear canal
True ! last year been to hospital for the same...I thought little bit of cotton inside but when doctor took out I was amazed to see the volume of cotton came out more than on bud..hahahahahahaha !
