Blues title hopes hanging by a thread after a night of late drama in the Irish Premiership

As we moved past the 90 minute mark in Tuesday night's games Linfield were on course to open up a one-point lead over Larne at the top of the Irish Premiership. But come the final whistle the title race had been flipped on its head again with the Blues' title hopes dealt a real hammer blow after two late goals at Windsor Park and The Oval .

We're dejected, certainly frustrated and disappointed. We turned it around after the first half. I didn't recognise the players in the first half. I didn't recognise the team, the shape, whatever we were trying to do.

"What's happened quite frequently, and why we find ourselves three points behind Larne, is we can't hold on to a lead in the 97th minute. The two points we have dropped tonight and the two points we dropped late on at Glenavon a few weeks ago, those are the games you look back on as costing you the position at the top of the table."
