A dance group will be performing at a station as part of a series of events to raise awareness about living life with a learning disability.
“The station takeovers have been a huge success and everyone passing through the stations loves to join in with them.“Our team are loving getting out to different places and telling people what life is like if you live with learning disabilities. The best way to communicate this is for our Dance Leaders to get out into public places and demonstrate their leadership skills.
As part of the station takeover, DanceSyndrome’s dance leaders who have Down’s Syndrome and other learning disabilities, will be leading dance routines for the people using the station to watch and also join in with. They will be also giving inspiring speeches to members of the public to talk about their work and what they are achieving in their careers.
