Sky News looks at why the UK vaccine rollout appears to have slowed down in recent weeks.

Professor Andrew Preston, of the University of Bath's department of biology and biochemistry, added that avoiding lockdowns and being able to live with the virus matters more than the numbers.

"Vaccinating children will boost the numbers, but it all depends on whether we can move back to a pre-COVID existence or not - whether that's by vaccinating 20%, 40% or 60% of the population. People now have to show a health pass to go to cafes, bars, restaurants, museums and other indoor spaces.

Cos the libertarian Tory Government won't get to grips with the selfish non vaxxers willing to burden the NHS and demanding entry to public places endangering fellow citizens

We are probably so skint now that we can't afford to buy it!

Those that want the experimental jab have had it . The rest of the population don't want it . Now you're going to force it on kids to up the percentage

Deaths and hospitalisations from covid are up on this time last year (before the vaccine rollout began). Just saying!

I think the vaccine rollout has slowed because the 4 governments of the UK are expecting another LOCKDOWN of some kind during the winter , so they wanna hold onto some vaccines for emergencies . 🙄🙄🙄🙄

LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!
