People and businesses react as areas move into tougher coronavirus restrictions this weekend.

Josh says the first lockdown was different as, like the oft-used phrase, "we were all in it together"The first-year university student is one of millions of people in England whoon Saturday morning, as areas moved to a higher tier because of rising coronavirus cases.

"It's lovely to be living with my parents again but that is it," he says. With Essex in tier two - high alert - like much of the country, it means he cannot socialise indoors with anyone outside his household.Nikki McReynolds lives in Elmbridge, Surrey, which this week moved into tier two. "Boris has a very very difficult job to do. He's never going to please everybody." But she suggests there could be a "get out clause" that eases the rules for people who have a very ill family member. For Georgia Tokely, 24, from Colchester in Essex, the new rules mean she faces another ban on seeing her girlfriend of three years, who lives in Norfolk."She's sad we can't see each other but she's got the point of view there's nothing we can do about it.

October is traditionally one of their busiest periods, local businesses said, as people come to see the Blackpool Illuminations during the school half-term holidays. "So now we are considering closing for the remainder of the year because it does not feel worthwhile to remain open. It's a bit bleak."Stewart Norris, owner of the Sutton Park B&B on Woodfield Road, told the PA news agency he had lost £1,500 in bookings since the measures were announced.

Dry your eyes

He won’t if he continually sits in that field of sunflowers.

Poor little him

Just like the rest of us! Suck it up and stop being wussies!

P

Fcking snowflake...

If you work for the bbc you have no friends

If you died of COVID you won’t see them anymore anyway so don’t moan about it

Some people are loving the dramatics. Stop attention seeking and go and see your friends.

These youngsters are short on creativity. They are very quick to whine and moan about tiny details .No prob. solving skills , lazy parenting . Fixing things instead of giving them info how to solve their own probs. It is gratifying & confidence building to fix one's own problems

Facetime, zoom, video call on whatsapp, Viber, messenger. Lots of options.

You can always use Skype to remain in touch nowadays keeping safe should be a priority

Aww bless hes a camp looking thing isn't he, and yet another inflammatory item from the bbc.

My kids are so unhappy they can't have their classmates over. they already form a bubble at school. it's so unfair.

Soft lad I haven't seen any of my friends since March.

phone laptop stop moaning

A whole 11 weeks then... Wow

The T2 lockdown (in effect, no household contact), is a token gesture in comparison to T3, where business are decimated, unemployment with soar, and the fabric of the communities will take decades to recover. No surprises the Tories London will only ever reach T2...

Diddums, its the same for a lot of people

And the point is?

So there wld b no difference.

This generation communicates by its mobiles etc even if in next room. So

This young man suffers with depression, so please think about that before you tweet

Well spring 21 cos vaccine today news was jan 21 is here mass rollout ny buzzing u wont report that only 3 months left this tho

Not the only one!!

Oooooooh friend

Pure Propaganda out in the open

Another sob story ,use the Internet lol.

🎻

Get a big coat and go and sit in a beer garden, rule of 6 still applies 🍻

That’s very optimistic, we are working on 2022 and only if we manage to get rid of the Tory party

What a bunch of knobs. My little boy who was born in Feb has seen his grandmother once, in Feb.

Don’t bank on it, mate.

Not seeing friends till 2021 Is much better than dying and not seeing them ever again Or worse, killing off a relative who dies as well or instead

This is all about power and control now. There’s too much evidence out there to show lockdowns and masks don’t work to stop the spread of a virus. The government will ease lockdowns at Christmas to try and look like hero’s! Get on with your lives and ignore the propaganda

Hasn’t this youngster heard of FaceTime. fakenews 😂

Brilliant. Please watch and share 👇

Boo bloody hoo!

I haven’t seen my family since January, and i’ve only seen friends twice all year. Doesn’t appear as if other people are making the same sacrifices for this virus.

This is again unnecessary, divisive reporting from the BBC......millions are in similar positions because of the Pandemic........it's ALL in the short term realistically......not permanent......in order to save lives.

I think that’s optimistic.

No one has friends. Friends can be trusted 100%. They don't exist!

Bit over the top when you can speak to your friends at the touch of a button. How about thinking of others worse off than yourself and families who have lost loved ones. This is like New Years Eve and saying I won't see you until next year, but in reality it's not that dramatic.

Where Josh has his medical reasons the other two girls don't! Then the article transpires in to a Government Infomercial with comments like 'lockdown is a good thing' and a we must follow the rules. Propaganda basically! Usual British Bullshit Corporation stuff!

How did BJ handle coronavirus?

Just think of all the money you saved on drinks, birthday gifts, Christmas. Quids in. Stay alone. Make the world a safer place. Please.

Whish we didn't see or hear you moaning minies

Force the government to come up with alternate solutions, Lockdowns aren't the only option.

Exaggeration

You can see your friends. Schools are open and pubs still open. You can meet outside.

Only if you are a sheep and believe in the scamdemic being pushed by the BBC and politicians world wide? The rest of us ! Well we will continue doing as we please because we can think for ourselves

Not seen one member of my family since Dec 12th 2019. Yes it's sad, but we WhatsApp most days and vidcall at the weekend. It works.

For Christ’s Sake, you have every right to break a law which offends against your rights as a human. Just get out there 🙄

Everyone in this pandemic is suffering or they are if they’re following the rules. Think of people who have been bereaved not necessarily from Covid but other things as well. They won’t see their loved ones again. Try coping with grief in this s**t show.

Dolt.

Your friends want to know if you can extend until 2022 instead?

Choice is protect yourself and others or not.

Can go to work with people we don't really know but can't meet our friends for a pint etc on a weekend 🤔 F**k the rules.

I wont see any of my friends until 2025. I think we are seriously underestimating covid. This is the new normal. This is just part of life now. The government will provide us with everything we need. No point in hanging on to things like going out, working etc.

Aww fuck up

We didn’t them either

The lockdown rules are too harsh but If you can't see your friends until 2021, so what? It's hardly the end of the world.

Can tell he is a gaf backwards

Well at least they will still be alive

I don’t expect to see my family until 2021. But they and I will likely be safe.

as for enemies they're all around

whiny brat

Sad fkg wanker i won't be fkg doing it.

You can still meet with skype, it is not the same, but this is how to do it.

BorisJohnson scullyp Respected sir, I am from India sir and I made an investment in one company based in London, UK after that I came to know that it's a SCAM. So many innocent people like me are investigating blindly and doing suicide after they knew the scam

Live your life and be careful about it, as you always should.

And SkY this is a pointless article lazy journalism

Remdesivir has 'little effect' on COVID-19 death risks, WHO study saysThe WHO's 11,266-person trial found no significant reduction in mortality risks among hospitalized COVID-19 patients treated with remdesivir, lopinavir, interferon or hydroxychloroquine Just like the Flu As mentioned elsewhere, this isn’t new information. There’s evidence to suggest Remdesivir may reduce recovery time, but I believe it’s only interventions like Dexamethasone that have been proven to reduce death compared with standard care. masks/swabs/needles/tests/lockdowns/etc. are what cause most covid and symptoms... they have convinced most that their salvation lies in their damnation... welcome to their hell on earth... call it what it is... a crime against humanity.. just say no(:~:)
