Guide dog delays due to pandemic like losing 'eyesight all over again'

ok while this artickle does highlight guide dog issues. someone saying that they don't feele comfortable going outside without a guide dog is not quite true. Before you get a guide dog you have too have a reasonable level of confidence with using the cane.

It's the same for Disability assistance dogs.

At home, guide dogs are less needed.

I feel your pain. This is affecting hearingdogs for the deaf too.

We train assistance dogs for disabled people and are in the same boat taking forever to train dogs to recipient due to Covid and much longer to basic yrain puppies we are just getting our first new puppies since February we are set back nearly s year really distressed recipients

It’s like the BBC are slotting in some appeasing articles between the COVID19 rhetoric and incessant COVID horror, vaccine promotion and NHS doom.

The disabled and those with mental health issues are getting left behind, that's why the lockdown needs to end NOW
