Corrie's Harriet Bibby in 'tears' week after exit as Summer over co-star move

Coronation Street star Harriet Bibby was left feeling emotional after she was reminded of her exit as Summer Spellman, four years after taking over the role.

But Summer told Billy at the time that she knew it was not the right time amid his husband Paul Foreman's diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease. While they agreed she should put the placement back a year, Paul found out and wasn't on board before managing to change both of their minds. Later Billy, Paul and Todd Grimshaw bid an emotional farewell to Summer as she set off in the back of a taxi with the trio watching on with tears in their eyes.

Harriet reshared the post to her Instagram Story with a crying emoji and a blue love heart while Corrie fans rushed to comment on Gareth's tear-jerking post.
