bbclaurak bbclaurak Ask them why aren’t we even checking passengers for symptoms when planes are still landing from around the world from hotspots? Where as many others are banning fights / enforcing quarantine? We just allow theee people to travel back on public transport...

bbclaurak We don't need these so called experts coming on the TV everyday telling the nation what they have to do because they have no mandate to do so as we never voted for them !

As they fall like flies at Westminster! 😆

bbclaurak Will there be PPE Will the BBC help save lives

night Yet we have to have an ex Supreme person who talks about a police state, the only reason for a police state is idiots who won’t abide by the rules. Playing football or hosting a party FGS

bbclaurak What would the death figures show if they were proportioned to the overall population figures for each country, i.e. the number of deaths per million population? Let's have figures that make sense!

bbclaurak Really, what happened to his herd immunity? Do I believe him? And why are the BBC not challenging these people when they don't answer a question, like today, or they change their minds, like herd immunity. Come on I could do better at hiding these people to account than you do.

bbclaurak Laura, A question that needs to be answered. Do Wales, Scotland & Northern Ireland have access to the same facilties and funding as do England? I notice that these briefings & facts/graphs are primarily about England - are we all in this together Or not?

Please show them during the broadcast next time

There’s one more missing! Keep water in the trap of your drainage if you live in an apartment. The virus can spread via the drainage! Please Learn from HOngkong who experienced SARS

I thought Justine Trudeau was self isolating?

bbclaurak Can we see the charts presented. Some didn’t come up

bbclaurak Interpreter got it right WTF!

bbclaurak Well that can only be good news, but I've lost faith in this bloke since that herd immunity nonsense. It's good we're having these briefings, but they never answer the questions and they're turning into 'didn't we do well' opportunities.

BBCLookEast Plus the fact that millions of Brits will now have 'herd immunity' so should be able to go about their business as normal. If only the government provided testing so we knew who they were ☹

night The Mirror didnt half sound unprofessional and childish with their contribution. I felt a bit embarrassed for the fella. Even though i agree with the sentiment. Just a bit early and inappropriate at this time

Wasn't he the one who suggested 'HERD IMMUNITY' from the beginning, so why should I believe in what he says..

2mtrs yer ? Divs

bbclaurak But the global deaths comparison is logarithmic so the deaths are still increasing exponentially. The graph appears to show flattening of the curve but the figures are hugely distorted. If the chart was linear the increase would appear very much sharper

bbclaurak Hopefully this looks like a tiny fragment of improving news

bbc5live tracy_atkinson_

Is it true about single parent been banned from going shopping as the sun newspaper saying this, as i am single mom of 10 months old son dont have internet at home

bbclaurak Pure optics and lies.

BBCPolitics the measures may have an effect - but this is spin - the damage is and continues to be done - look at us FFS - the country is cooped up at home avoiding all contact with others for months on end - the virus is still spreading all be it more slowly - the only hope is a vaccine

bbclaurak Very difficult to have confidence in Govt figures of new cases and deaths. The ITU figures are clearly false. Why?

But not good enough. There are people blatantly flouting these rules, yet there seems to be nothing done about it

I find it very troubling that these stats just relate to England. I understand that the other parts of the Union have separate powers but surely we should be looking & dealing with this as the U.K. as a whole?

BBCScotlandNews Can we have medical summaries post govt briefings and not political summaries. This is a medical crisis, not a political one.

But no clarity on testing and equipment. No details. They should at least provide references for us to look at: list of test options, who, where, when? Amazed somebody asked about confronting China about yet another virus. Doubt it.
