Such a great 👍 selfless doctor! May he rest in peace in heaven!🙏 This virus 🦠 is no joke, please take it very seriously! Stay safe!

This is what happens when the healthcare staff are not given the appropriate ppe. The government seem to be slow in saving the people in the front line.

This is not fair!!

May Allah accept his soul. A proper martyr

Very very sad.

He didn’t film himself coming out of retirement, just did it. Hero

This is just awful news and sadly won’t be the last. How can you ask kind, caring people to go back to work and yet provide them with totally inadequate protection, if any at all. It’s like sending troops into the battlefield without guns or ammo! Govt led manslaughter.

Saffiya_Khan1 This unnecessary death is the result of mismanagement of NHS privatised service companies that no longer serve the nation or the NHS but their share holders. Our so called Gov. is no longer in a position to do anything other than propaganda & bigging up. Emperor has no clothes!

I'm sure BorisJohnson isn't worrying enough with British people. How many lives would be saved if he'd imposed lockdown on 13/03 (10days before the official date)? Today, we still watch NHS staff and people in general not being tested for COVID19. No excuse, this is a shame.

Thank you for your service 😇😇 RIP XX

Went out on his shield...hero

raziakkhan This is really sad. RIP 🙏

RIP

So sad, needless, immoral. That's 4 doctors now in UK and over 60 in Italy. Goodness knows how many in US, Spain, France, China, South Korea etc. Any nurse numbers published? God love them all 😥

😔 RIP. If Govt wants retired NHS staff to come out of retirement..they should at least be equipped with protective measures?

Absolute fucking hero. RIP to you sir

True hero

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your sacrifice 🙏

When this is all over these people need to be remembered properly. We mustn't allow them to just be a statistic.

RIP

This is so sad. I didn’t agree with retired/semi-retired medical staff helping. Although the virus appears to infect any age now, retired/semi-retired NHS staff will be in the high risk group who need to remain in isolation unfortunately. Very brave.

RIP brave doctor. 🙏

Poor guy, bless his soul!

All the words in Oxford dictionary for paying tribute, seems so small for you doc. COVID19 CoronaVirus

Why are HM Gov still insisting on paper CT61 tax return forms which require us to go out, buy stamps & post during pandemic?

RIP absolute hero no need to come out of retirement but he did to help a completely selfless act that ended up costing him his life..God bless you 🙏

This absolutely fucking sucks. agony

Thank you! Rest in peace.

U can see it in his face, the loop holes and lip service this announcement is Local authorities are obscene bureaucratic hell holes. The death knell of the economy and way of life will be unprecedented. The overreaction and mismanagement. Hundreds of Thousands unemployed.

God Bless you Sir and thankyou for your service and your selfless sacrifice putting yourself back in the face of danger. RIP 😢🙏

He should never of been put in that position.

Coronavirus: UK measures having 'big effect' on social contact - BBC NewsUK's chief scientific adviser Sir Patrick Vallance says measures being put in place are 'making a difference' Coronavirus latest: BBCScotlandNews Can we have medical summaries post govt briefings and not political summaries. This is a medical crisis, not a political one. But no clarity on testing and equipment. No details. They should at least provide references for us to look at: list of test options, who, where, when? Amazed somebody asked about confronting China about yet another virus. Doubt it. I find it very troubling that these stats just relate to England. I understand that the other parts of the Union have separate powers but surely we should be looking & dealing with this as the U.K. as a whole?
