Boris Johnson is set to make a statement on the next steps the country will take to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.
The prime minister will speak a day after Sir Patrick Vallance, the government's chief scientific adviser, warned the UK could soon seeMr Johnson, who has said he doesn't want to put the country into a second national lockdown, is expected to announce news measures designed to slow the spread of the virus in England.will be forced to close at 10pm every night from Thursday - but here are three other sets of measures that Mr Johnson could be set to announce.
Professor Chris Whitty, the chief medical officer for England, said during a Downing Street briefing on Monday that limiting social contact between households was key to tackling the virus.
If you can’t wear a mask for whatever reason you shouldn’t be allowed to enter shops it’s as simple as that. Whatever your reasons you could be carrying the virus and passing it on to shop workers. I’m sick of seeing people either not wearing them or not wearing them properly!!!
People can't be expected to work all week and then be told to be in bed by 10. I have said it before rule of six and curfews = police state. The science is flawed but they still use it to put peoe under home arrest.
1. Work from home, if you can 2. Go to to work if you can't 3. Avoid public transport, if you can 4. Kids go to school, if well to do so Everything else is a luxury at this stage.

What did people expect? Journalists went screeching 'Lockdown won't stop covid!' New Zealand had one of the harshest lockdown,they're doing better. You can't say lockdown and allow protests though.

So once again pub and restaurant workers get fucked over. Get screwed with Eat Out to Help Out and now can't enjoy a pint once our shift is over.
So pointless. Covid is like the flu. Impossible to stop people from catching it. Locking people in their homes is just delaying them getting corona. Just get back to normal. Only reason we had lockdown was to prevent NHS surge.. We avoided that. Open up.
Eat out to help out was also genius! Remove restrictions and flood places with people! Then 2 weeks after wonder why the rate had gone up! Fucking genius!
So they shut the pubs and everyone says... come on back to ours. And the whole pub ends up in someone's kitchen. Great plan. Have you lot ever actually been to a pub in real life?
I wonder if it'll include supermarkets......being a shop worker myself I can say that would cause a number of issues for everyone.
