If you're one of those people who can't get enough of Christmas, then you're in luck as the festivities have already started in Manchester . The first stalls have opened up at Manchester Christmas Markets , in front of the huge Skate Manchester ice rink in Cathedral Gardens.
Obviously the prices differ from stall to stall, but in Cathedral Gardens it's bad news for fans of the popular Yorkshire wraps, as they've gone up from £8 last year to £10. That's for chicken, beef or minted lamb. The mixed meat one has risen from £10 to £12.READ MORE: Manchester's biggest ice rink opens for Halloween and will stay until the New Year
Drinks have increased too though. Mulled wine is up by 50p, to £5.50, and the deposit for those collectable mugs has risen from £3 to £3.50. You either get your deposit back in full when you return your mug, or can keep it to take home. So a hot chocolate will set you back £7 - and it's up to you whether you keep your mug or not.
The site, which is traditionally the most family friendly zone as it's away from some of the bigger crowds, is next to the giant Skate Manchester ice rink. The rink has been open as Scare Skate until Halloween and will now be transforming into a winter wonderland for the festive season, opening from November 2 to January 2.
