Crowd management measures could combat anti-social behaviour at Cardiff Bay after police officers injured, MP suggests

In the city centre, social distance markers and one-way systems for walking are in place and the Cardiff South and Penarth MP said he had spoken to the authorities about something similar in the bay."I do want to see a better system so people adhere to the coronavirus regulations and also enjoy Cardiff Bay in a safe way.

"What they're having to deal with is completely unacceptable. People need to act more responsibly," he added.Mr Doughty also told"I have urged the council and licensing to look into what they can do about that problem," he said. "As with all events where large people are congregating, and especially during Covid, our staff are unable to clean and clear when a significant amount of people are in one area. We have no other option other than to clear it all up afterwards."Police say there were several disturbances in Cardiff Bay on Saturday evening

South Wales Police chief superintendent Andy Valentine said anti-social behaviour and criminality would not be tolerated.

So predictable; this age group have no self discipline nor do they care !

Entitled generation Z at it once again

Is it just me thinking the wrong age group are being told to self isolate. The me, me, me, generation will get us all killed in the end.Time to return to discipline in the home and school and stop this ignorant behaviour. An old saying but true, spare the rod and spoil the child.

And if my Aunt hadn’t died, she would still be alive.

Perhaps troops should be asked to stand in, dressed in full combat gear to prevent injury from these mindless thugs. At least rpthey are trained for warfare.

If there’s a spike in Cardiff it will still be blamed on Muslims who went to visit their parents on Eid, of course.

BBCPolitics In France, Spain, Portugal youths hang around in public spaces in large groups drinking beer and having fun. The police keep an eye, successfully, quickly stopping anti-social issues with full force, but allowing fun. Families use the same spaces, as do tourists. Why can't we?

Putting in place measures for (eventual) anti government protests? HoldThemToAccount

Just remove officers from the site.

All this can be traced back to Cummings ignoring his own rules ... the battle was lost then

Where's Torchwood when you need them. They would have some kind of tech to sort this shit out.
