Bus stop 'completely destroyed' in hit-and-run car crash on residential Hastings street

A bus stop has been ‘completely destroyed’ in an early morning hit-and-run car crash on a residential street.

A spokesperson added that "the occupants of the vehicle had left the scene and enquiries are being made to trace them".Credit: Google Street View There are conflicting reports about exactly what happened, with sources suggesting that a vehicle struck the shelter early on Saturday morning.
