A BRITISH holidaymaker has died after being spotted floating in a hotel pool in Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands in the early hours of this morning.
Civil Guard officers have now launched an inquiry which is being coordinated by a local court and have been told by witnesses the dead man appeared to have been drinking before he ended up in the pool. “We received an alert at 12.52 am this morning/yesterday morning from a hotel reception informing us a person had been found floating in the water.
