A BRITISH woman has been airlifted to hospital after being seriously injured in a freak accident on the holiday island of Tenerife.
She was stabilised at the scene before being rushed to hospital in the island capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife.At this stage, it is not known whether the victim is a tourist or an expat and exactly how she was injured. “A medicalised helicopter and support ambulance were mobilised along with a doctor and a nurse from a local health centre and local police and Civil Guard.
