Son's fears IT worker mum is eighth Brit victim of Sri Lanka bombings

AN IT director is feared to be the eighth British victim of the Sri Lanka bombings - as her son said: “I know it's my mum".

She had just arrived in Colombo on a business trip and was last seen alive on CCTV footage having breakfast with a colleague.Neil flew out to Sri Lanka to find and find her after it was said she was sat “very close” to the blast site. All eight British victims have now been named after Islamist fanatics detonated eight bombs at hotels and churches, killing at least 359 and injuring more than 500.

I have been told it is her although she has got to be formally identified. I know it is my mum. She has been taken from us in a terrible way.Elder brother David, 21, said: “They were in a breakfast restaurant on the third floor when there was the first explosion.“My brother and sister were ahead and dad about a metre behind. Both were killed. Millionaire hedge fund manager Matthew, 61, miraculously survived, suffering cuts to his face.
