Sky News is spending two weeks in the city of Derby to try and understand what Brexit might mean for its residents.

In 2016, nearly 60% of voters in Derby opted to leave the European Union and there is very little evidence since then that Derby regrets that decision.

In December, Rolls-Royce announced it was transferring some operations work from Derby to Germany to limit disruption caused by Brexit . Johan van Zyl said that if the Brexit"hurdles" were too high it would undermine Toyota's competitiveness.

Here we go again - continually pushing the idea that everybody has changed their mind (or in their opinion should have) on voting to leave the EU - WE HAVEN'T - that's just a remainers wet dream!😡

They’re not the only ones

The only way to move the country forward is a PeoplesVote people know much more now about Brexit and everyone can make a choice that can not be questioned by lack of knowledge. Only way to begin to heal our divided country

Hit piece incoming

The fact the government has turned the implementation of brexit into a disaster, and the media bias continue to fuel the fire that brexit is a disaster, it doesn’t change the rationale for voting leave. We should’ve walked away and said to ‘Europe’ what deal can you provide UK

Longhead137 willofthepeople

The rest of the county has, so I expect Derby has too, but Sky News is firmly in the leave camp so that’s the guff your get from them.

schule69

Little point asking them now, we’ve not left yet. Give it a couple of years after we’ve sailed into the abyss and ask them then.

pintofsmooth voted Leave

Why would they change their minds? Nothing has happened since 2016 that wasn’t expected

I agree with Derby.... they should leave. We will build a wall around Derby..... and Derby is going to pay for it!

Most of these people voted leave over immigration. I don't think they realized it was just for EU countries, doesn't include Asians, Africans etc... That won't change. Windrush, Ugandan Indians and now WHITE Europeans. What happens if Scotland leaves the uk? Will they be next?

OK so when are you going to do a similar piece for example, about scottish cities who have seen their industries raped by globalism and still votedd to remain? Oh wait sorry, I forgot, you are biased fake news remainstream media.

But the great British media under Project Fear continues to tell us we’re all wrong.

Mit gondolnak önök erről? mindenkinek csak arra van .... ideje, amire időt szakít magának, nincs az a zsúfolt élet, ami ez alól a törvényszerűség alól kivétel lenne Utalás valamire?

if this document the Bruges Group put out then hastely took down is correct'then it will be the biggest collusion and treacherous act ever against the UK voting public and democracy.

Hey SkyNews - You need to be careful that you don't get a Nosebleed or Altitude Sickness, while trying to persuade the Majority VoteLeave Brexiteers in Derby, that they made a mistake during the EUReferendum. A note of caution, be warned about the consequences! 😂🤣🧐🇬🇧

I just want this nightmare to end tbh

Wouldn’t change my mind if you paid me. PROUD leave voter ❤️🇬🇧

More Japanese firms set to leave UK because of Brexit uncertainty'You can't make those decisions until you know what's going to happen next. This is very important' Ah. The bias speaks. Surprise surprise. More anti-brexit news. They can't help it that they were on the losing side. There’s another, quieter, reason - trust. What company can trust an unstable country with a chaotic government? Who would want to invest in that? The risk is too high.
