LIVE Brexit news: Philip Hammond has said there is a “perfectly credible” case for a second referendum which “deserves to be tested” in Parliament

The Telegraph\u0027s Camilla Tominey writes: Furious Andrea Leadsom has lashed out at MPs who last night seized control of the Brexit process by one vote, saying: “If they’d had guns it would have been a military coup”. Along with fellow Tory MPs, she also poked fun at her Conservative colleague Oliver Letwin, who conspired with Labour’s Yvette Cooper to fast track a further Brexit delay into law, describing him as ‘King Letwin’.

Hammond should have been sacked a year ago when he undermined the PM which he has continued to do

I said Hamilton should be sacked over a year ago when he undermined TM

Why because he didn’t like the result last time. If he persists with this anti-democratic the Conservatives will be wipes out just like 1997

What about the first referendum on E.U. membership under Wilson? The Second referendum under Cameron ! don't they count as No 1 and No 2 ? so would another referendum not be No 3

^ 👎eh no not quite Parl hav 2 own their own mess! & not delegate their own responsibility 'again' bak 2 joe Public 4 future blame games ty ;) PhilipHammondUK bbclaurak bbcquestiontime

Why have we a convicted criminal who voted last night to stop a no deal going through parliament and sitting there with a tag on her vote should not b aload

Has this not already been debated several times in parliament and opposed? Are the Tories trying to commit election suicide?

tobytortoise1 Time for a General election.

To be fair, every possible solution should be allowed four meaningful votes - so the process should be extended to the year 2079. Alternatively let's end it by 12th April (2019) calling the whole thing off, revoking article 50 or leaving with no deal.

So we can have another one after that this mess is because to many politicians are insulting the democratic vote to leave and voting against there constituents and saying you don’t know what you are talking about I hope people vote them out next election

And if the remainers win and we stay in the EU, the £ is gone. Our army will be an EU army.. Just walk with a no deal! Watch what the EU does then, they'll be at the table trying to get trade deals immediately.. Let's get our Lamb back from Australia..

If Leave is such a good option then Brexiteers have nothing to fear from a second referendum on the deal. Seems to make perfect sense to me.

A snap General Election would be far quicker than another plebiscite. Who fears one and why?

And will say REMAIN or ACCEPT the Deal?

This is not a surprise. Second referenda until the 'right' result is obtained is a hallmark of EU related activity. This is the end of the illusion of democracy; votes are worthless. The electorate knows that the covenant is broken.

There are currently 10,000 EU troops in the UK for an exercise as this is happening. But it's just a coincidence. Nothing to worry about

Has Mrs May got the longest finger wagging finger in the Commons?

There is a perfectly credible case for sacking Philip Hammond that must be tested in Downing St.

Still can’t help thinking this is all part of a May/Juncker master plan to keep us in. They are smarter than some give them credit. Both want Remain, between them they could stage this impasse so that revocation becomes unavoidable....as most are set against No Deal. Nice, my MP voted against every option. Baller, hopefully he does it again if any more of these indicative votes happen.
