Dozens of firefighters have raced to a tower block in east London after a huge blaze broke out this morning.
It's understood to have broken out in two separate areas of the Hallsville Quarter building site near Canning Town station, the Mirror reports. A spokesperson said: "Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters are responding to a fire near Silvertown Way in Canning Town. The fire is located in a construction site. One of the Brigade's 64m ladder has been deployed to the scene."
Top news stories today The cause of the fire is not yet known. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police has confirmed no injuries have been reported so far.
