The removal of the original statue should have been decided by the people of Bristol. The second one was removed because it was the equivalent of graffiti. It doesn't matter what you think, there are laws in this country.
The statue looked very interesting and was a good protest but there are processes which need to apply to everyone’s lives. It would also be better to be cast in metal not resin. A permanent exhibition which juxtaposes the two statues might be an interesting option.
