Bestwood 'stabbing' live updates as police set up cordon outside shop

Bestwood Police officers at the scene would not say what had happened. It is not known when the cordon will be lifted or when the shop will reopen.

He says that the boy had said he was stabbed, but he cannot confirm.Lots of people were having a look as they go past, but no neighbours had any idea what had happened - as no houses overlook the shop, says our reporter.

At around 8.50pm the final police van left the scene after a single officer took down the police tape that had set up from the bus stop to the shop.At around 8.40pm the forensics officers and a squad car left the scene, with the forensic investigator taking pictures inside the shop before this, our reporter says.“I saw the squad cars go past around 10 to seven. There were six police cars and two paramedics.”It’s a limited cordon that is taking up the front of the shop and part of its parking.

Officers were called to Daleside Road, in Colwick on Monday, May 27, after receiving a report of a road traffic collision involving four vehicles
