A beach-themed rum bar with an outdoor terrace is coming back to the city centre later this month just in time for summer.
The pop-up bar will feature an exclusive menu of rum-based cocktails, featuring summer frozés and Instagram-worthy specials that won’t be found anywhere else. Naturally, the whole space will also serve as a perfect backdrop for photo ops too. The bar will feature quirky lanterns, colourful deck chairs and palm trees, as well as live sets from DJs playing everything from Ibiza classics to a bit of funk each weekend. There will also be a selection of freshly-made pizzas to choose from, which can be ordered directly from the pizza van parked on the terrace.
Sticking around for just the summer, Malibu Beach Club will open from May 16 and will only be open until September. People will be able to walk-up, or book spots online. Appearing in the same spot last year, the pop-up bar was a big hit with those looking to soak up the sunshine over a frozen cocktail.
