A councillor seen stumbling out of an Audi A3 after being stopped by police was found to be more than four times over the drink-drive limit.
He was stopped by police on August 9 2023 while driving an Audi A3 in Chester city centre. When asked if he had been drinking, he said 'no', reports the Manchester Evening News. Bryan spoke for himself at the court at Chester Magistrates Court yesterday, March 27. He said he had a 'horrific year' because he lost his parents-in-law and a close friend.
He was also ordered to undertake 300 hours of unpaid work – reduced to 200 in recognition of his early guilty plea. He will also have to do a drink-driving awareness course at his own expense and was also ordered to pay £120 in court costs.
