Armed police rushed to a road in Glasgow's south side after reports of an individual 'carrying a crossbow' today .
Emergency services blue-lighted to Kenmure Street at around 4.05pm after they received a call regarding an incident allegedly involving a weapon in the area. Officers were also told that an individual was assaulted, however, investigators have not found anyone who sustained any injuries. Police Scotland that a 44-year-old man and 43-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the incident. Enquiries are still ongoing. A spokesperson from the force said: “Around 4.05pm on Monday, 6 May 2024 police received a report of a man brandishing a crossbow in Kenmure Street, Glasgow. There was also a report of someone having been assaulted.
