Maybe it wasn’t his age but more to do with him not disclosing emails to Ron Dennis, resulting in spygate, a£100m fine and loss of all constructors points.

I think Pedro would have done better than Heikki in 2008, although I understand why Heikki was hired after his solid rookie season.

I think had he got the drive alongside Lewis in 2008, McLaren might have won that year's constructors title. I doubt McLaren ever really considered Pedro for that seat given his pretty average career to that point
