He was caught on camera.

A car parked in Bukit Merah was damaged in a hit-and-run and the owner hopes the culprit will confess his mistake and pay for the repairs.A dashcam video of the accident in the busy Bukit Merah Lane 1 open-air carpark on Feb 7 at around 12.30pm was posted online by SG Road Vigilante.

"The driver even took the trouble to walk from his left side after parking presumably to inspect the damage on both his vehicle and mine, but he didn’t even bother to leave a note or apologise at all." The Stomper added:"Recently, there has been an increase in hit-and-run accident as usually people are ‘only guilty if caught’ and the punishment is usually low, therefore encouraging a high number of such cases.

"I do have a number of pictures of the driver. I feel that they should be responsible for their mistakes and step forward to answer for their mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes but by running away, it is an obviously irresponsible action."
