A 54-year-old man was taken to hospital after his motorcycle was sideswiped by a car on the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) towards Woodlands. The incident was captured on video and shows the car hitting the motorcycle, causing the rider to fall to the ground. The police have confirmed that the motorcyclist was conscious when taken to the hospital.

A 54-year-old man was taken to hospital after his motorcycle was sideswiped by a car on the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) towards Woodlands on Feb 7. A Stomper shared a clip showing a white car filtering onto the expressway and hitting the motorcycle with its right side. The bike is sent skidding and the rider's shoes fly off as he falls to the ground. He is wearing a Grab long-sleeved shirt.In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at about 8.45pm.

"A 54-year-old male motorcyclist was conveyed conscious to the hospital," a police spokesperson said.Motorcyclist, 19, declared dead after accident involving bus and lorry at Lentor Avenu
