An economy rice stall in Geylang received an unwelcome visitor while it was closed.

The rodent can be seen on a metal counter, sniffing around piles of bowls, then scurrying onto two stacks of trays.

"We have also seen rats running around and they do not only come to our stall. They appear whenever we close the stall and switch off the lights, but not when there are people around." He also said that all leftover food is discarded when the stall closes so as to not attract rats. The stall will also be cleaned.
