The Election Commission of Pakistan held a consultation meeting with the political parties regarding the code of conduct during which PTI demanded a level playing field for the general elections. Sources said that PTI demanded permission to hold rallies, election campaigns place banners, and conduct free election campaigns.The Chief Election Commissioner instructed PTI that today’s meeting was called for consultation on the code of conduct and sought PTI suggestions regarding the code of conduct.
The Chief Election Commissioner said that he could meet the PTI leaders on other issues later.
