For this purpose, 254 polling stations have been set up for the polling process including 22 polling stations of A-category, 198 of B-category and 34 polling stations of C-category.
It is pertinent to mention here that the nomination papers of candidates of the ruling party—Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf—Jamshed Iqbal Cheema and his wife Musarat as covering candidates were rejected. The Election Commission of Pakistan has decided to use the RTS app as it has already been successfully implemented in some other elections including NA-4 and PS-114 .
