According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department , isolated areas in Peshawar and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to experience rain, wind, and thunderstorms on Friday and Saturday. Most of Pakistan is under the influence of continental air, with a shallow westerly wave anticipated to impact upper and western regions starting tonight.
Tonight, partly cloudy weather with rain, wind, and thunderstorms is forecasted for isolated areas in Chitral, Dir, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Swat, Kurram, Waziristan, Bajaur, and Khyber. Elsewhere in the province, hot and dry conditions are expected. On Friday and Saturday, rain, wind, and thunderstorms are anticipated at isolated spots in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Balakot, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Battagram, Malakand, Peshawar, Kohat, Karak, Hangu, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Kurram, Orakzai, and Waziristan.
In Peshawar, maximum temperatures are predicted to range between 38-40 degrees Celsius on both Friday and Saturday. During the past 24 hours, hot and dry weather was observed in Peshawar and most districts of the province. Dera Ismail Khan registered the highest temperature in the province at 42°C. The relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 63 percent in Dera Ismail Khan and 60 percent in Peshawar.
