Thursday and Friday are anticipated to witness widespread rainfall and isolated hailstorms in Peshawar and various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department reports the dominance of a westerly wave over much of Balochistan, which is expected to extend its influence to the upper regions of Pakistan by Thursday. Consequently, areas such as Waziristan, Tank, Bannu, and Kurram are likely to experience rain, winds, and thunderstorms on Wednesday evening and night, while other parts of the province may witness partly cloudy conditions.
Additionally, high mountain areas may experience snowfall. Peshawar’s maximum temperatures are forecasted to range between 27-29 degrees Celsius on Thursday and 25-27 degrees Celsius on Friday. Meanwhile, dry weather was observed in most districts of the province over the past 24 hours, with Dera Ismail Khan recording the highest temperature at 31 degrees Celsius and Peshawar registering a maximum temperature of 29 degrees Celsius, with relative humidity recorded at 82 percent and 61 percent respectively during the morning.
