"The men and women of the Philippine Air Force join the country in celebrating this historic event. Sgt. Diaz truly personifies Diwa, Galing at Malasakit of the airmen and airwomen. Congratulations and mabuhay, Sgt. Diaz!"
Sa kaniyang social media account, tinawag ni Robredo na malaking pagkapanalo sa bansa ang panalo ni Diaz. Nagpasalamat din siya sa weightlifter sa karangalang dinala sa mga Pinoy. "The Palace congratulates Hidilyn Diaz for bringing pride and glory to the Philippines for winning the country's first-ever Olympic gold medal ," ani Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque. Gamit ang tinapay, chocolate, at hazelnut spread at toothpick, inukit ni Jaypee Bacera Magno ang imahe ni Hidilyn.
