The low pressure area off Palawan may continue to bring rains over some parts of the country, including Metro Manila, as it may develop into a tropical depression within the next 36 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said on Sunday, Oct. 24.
“This weather disturbance may develop into a tropical depression within the next 36 hours as it moves generally westward and exits the Philippine area of responsibility between tonight and tomorrow morning ,” PAGASA said in its 11 a.m. weather advisory. Light to moderate with at times heavy rains may also prevail over Metro Manila, Bulacan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Zambales, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Cagayan Valley, Eastern Visayas, and Caraga.
