MMDA chairperson Romando Artes said the current number of cars using EDSA as of November 4 was around 417,000 — higher than the pre-pandemic data of 405,000.

Several areas in Metro Manila are now experiencing heavier traffic two weeks before Christmas Day, Ian Cruz reported on “24 Oras” on Friday.

“Siguro po mga dalawang oras ang dapat i-allot pero minsan mabilis naman depende po sa oras,” the official said.

What MMDA should do is to create speed lanes. The two left most lanes must be assigned as express lane travelling with furthest destination to NLEX and Monumento. There must be a min speed requirement there of at least 60kph. The faster those lanes are depleted the better.
