Marikina City Mayor Marcy Teodoro has cancelled on Sunday, Oct. 10, all penalties and interests burdening the market stall owners who were unable to pay rent amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Teodoro then ordered the Marikina City Council to enact an ordinance to respond to the owners’ request.
