AN officer of the CIDG-Pangasinan reports the arrest of Sherwin Diaz , a former Army Scout Ranger, allegedly involved in the ambush of former Pangasinan Gov. Amado Espino Jr. in 2019.
The suspect was arrested while getting off a bus at about 2 a.m. “Nakuha si Diaz pagbaba niya sa RoRo, sa bus kasi matagal na siyang nasurveillance, nagtago ito sa Surigao almost a year na ,” police said. The court recommended no bail for the crime of murder but set bail of P120,000 for each count of attempted murder and P120,000 for frustrated murder.
