POLICE secure the area in Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental where an unidentified man was found dead Friday, June 24.
BACOLOD CITY – Police Lt. Marion Vincent Buenaflor, deputy police chief of Talisay City, said the half-naked victim was hogtied with a packaging tape while his face was covered with a cloth while lying on its side. A motorist who passed by the area found the victim around 12:55 a.m. and reported the grim discovery to the nearby police post.
Police believed that the victim may have been shot and killed in the area as some fired bullets were recovered from the crime scene.Police are awaiting the family or relatives of the victim to confirm his identity.
