The DOST-FNRI said data collection for the last leg of the Expanded National Nutrition Survey (ENNS) which was called off due to coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has already begun. READ:

The Department of Science and Technology – Food and Nutrition Research Institute said data collection for the last leg of the Expanded National Nutrition Survey which was called off due to coronavirus disease pandemic has already begun.

DOST Secretary Fortunato “Boy” T. de la Peña said the National Nutrition Survey Team is composed of professionals and is expected to conduct face-to-face data collection in 19 municipalities in Tarlac and Tarlac City. Quoting DOST-FNRI Director Dr. Imelda Angeles-Agdeppa, he said the team is set to interview around 1,560 households in 19 municipalities in Tarlac including Tarlac City.He noted that as requested by the provincial government of Tarlac, the team underwent antigen testing and was required to obtain medical certificates and travel order before their deployment.
