Sa isang local clinical trial ng Department of Science and Technology (DOST), mas mabilis na gumaling sa mild symptoms ng COVID19 ang mga gumamit ng lagundi. BASAHIN DITO ang buong ulat:

The study involved 278 patients from different quarantine centers. Half of them were given lagundi, while the rest were not, said DOST Secretary Fortunato Dela Peña.

Loss of sense of smell is a symptom of COVID-19, along with fever, dry cough, tiredness, aches and pains, sore throat, diarrhea, conjunctivitis, headache, and skin rash or discoloration of fingers or toes, experts earlier said. "Iyon pong mga sintomas nung mga nag-take ng lagundi ay mas unang nawala iyong mga sintomas ano.

"Kung maganda iyong resulta, ito ay inaasahan namin na sana naman ay i-recommend ng ating DOH at puwede ring ituloy ang trials para sa mga moderate cases," said the official. A separate clinical trial on the use of virgin coconut oil to treat patients with moderate and severe COVID-19 is expected to be finished in July, he said. The DOST earlier said virgin coconut oil could be used as a food supplement to reduce the symptoms of probable and suspect COVID-19 cases.

FDA chief: Very few catch COVID-19 after full vaccinationVery few people catch COVID-19 after completing their vaccination, the Philippine drug regulator said on Wednesday, as it sought to allay concerns about whether jabs provide enough protection against the more contagious coronavirus Delta variant. I don't think you can say out of the 1.6 million who got their 2nd dose of Sinovac,X number had infection because you did note really follow up ALL the 1.6 million. That's a misleading statement . Unless you really did follow them up...like took regular RTPCR tests.
