The local government of Valenzuela City has to temporarily stop its COVID-19 vaccination program starting July 4, 2021 due to limited availability of the vaccine.

In a Facebook post, the local government said it is still waiting for a new batch of COVID-19 vaccine supply from the national government so no appointment letters will be given to residents set to receive the first dose. “Muling magpapatuloy ang pamamahagi ng mga appointment letter sa sandaling dumating na ang mga bagong supply ng bakuna ,” it said.

The local government assured those getting their second dose not to worry as there is a reserved supply for them. “Sundin lamang ang petsang nakasaad sa inyong VCVax Passport at magtungo sa vaccination site at oras na tulad ng sa iyong unang dose ,” it added.
