The immediate impacts of Covid-19 on learning and participation will be the focus of the first phase of the newly-crafted Basic Education Development Plan 2030 of the Department of Education .
Under the BE-LCP, various learning modalities were utilized such as modular learning, online learning, television and radio-based instruction, and the combination of these modalities under blended learning.Currently, the expansion phase of limited face-to-face classes is being implemented.of face-to-face classes in all schools nationwide.Phase 2 of BEDP 2030, on the other hand, will focus on sustaining the gains and evaluating programs.
“This administration has ventured into developing a long-term plan for basic education to strategically address the immediate impacts of the pandemic on learning, and to also confront the challenge on quality of education,” she added.
