FIVE areas in the National Capital Region that were earlier declared as under moderate risk for coronavirus disease has reverted back to low risk classification following the modification of the matrix for the identification of risk classification of an area.

“Mapupunta po sila ulit sa low risk dahil ‘yung kanilang average daily attack rate ay hindi pa lumalagpas ng six at saka ‘yung kanilang healthcare utilization naman is less than 50 percent,” Vergeire said in a Laging Handa public briefing Wednesday, June 29, 2022. The Inter-Agency Task Force removed the two-week growth rate in the equation for the determination of case risk classification, while the average daily attack rate and the healthcare utilization were retained.
