Three years after the implementation of the Duterte administration’s bloody drug war, allegations of rampant extra-judicial killings on drug personalities remain unproven, the chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) said Monday.

“Those allegations are allegations that have never been proven. I think that is a stereotype already,” said PNP chief Gen. Oscar Albayalde.

It stated that there was a pattern of the rampant killings and that the government was not willing to investigate those drug-related killings. While the PNP has been relentless in the campaign against the illegal drug trade, Albayalde said they always made sure that police operational procedures were observed.
