In an Instagram video posted on Monday, he said he’ll be willing to meet with the Netflix transgender employees who have demanded that his comedy special be removed from the streaming platform.“First of all, you cannot come if you have not watched my special from beginning to end,” he said in the video posted on Monday. “You must come to a place of my choosing, at a time of my choosing. And thirdly, you must admit that Hannah Gadsby is not funny.

Rodrigo Heng-Lehtinen, the executive director of the National Center for Transgender Equality responding to Chappelle’s comments, noted that his offer to meet does little to change the impact of his words.
