Ghana’s President, Nana Akufo-Addo, has announced a three-month free provision of water for all Ghanaians as parts of his government’s efforts to tackle the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
“The Ghana Water Company and the Electricity Company of Ghana have been directed to ensure stable supply and electricity during this period. In addition, there will be no disconnection of supply. The government had imposed the restrictions to check the spread of COVID-19 in the West African country.
